WHEN SHOULD YOU UPDATE YOUR ERP?

We commonly hear clients ask; how often should I upgrade my ERP? Or, is my ERP out of date? Well, there’s no right answer here but, if you’re asking, you should probably consider upgrading your ERP to the latest software version. While there is no standard time frame to upgrade an ERP, your business will upgrade when the time is right.

After a period of time, you may find your ERP system is no longer functioning in the way you want. This is typically due to the high demands placed on technology and daily business processes. With that in mind, you may want to consider the ACC Always Current Program.

 

 

The ACC Always Current Program is designed to keep your ERP solution on the most recent software version. Staying current will not only decreases technology debt, but it provides improved system functionality and the best tech options on the market. Clients who are qualified for the Always Current Program will be upgraded to the most recent version of their software on an agreed upon scheduled upgrade date and will automatically receive software updates on a fixed quarterly schedule. Additionally, customers are assigned a ‘Customer Monthly Maintenance Date’. On this date, ACC will update the server to the most recent software service pack that has been published for at least 45 days.
