Sage Summit 2017 in Atlanta just wrapped up! Our team had a great time attending and wanted to share a brief recap of the major announcements. That way, even if you couldn’t attend the Summit, you’ll stay up to date with all things Sage!

Recently I created a number of custom reports for a customer and while testing the reports they mentioned that the size or display was wrong. For example the report was designed to be in Landscape but when ran in Sage 100 would show as Portrait and cut off several columns.

We’ve found that after so long, working with a complex subject like ERP, it’s best to take a step back and review where you’ve been, and where you are, so that you can better predict where you’re going.

As recently as just a few years ago, the Internet of Things (IoT) was a theoretical concept. Now, it’s more than a reality, it’s becoming the standard.

You’ve probably heard all about nexus. If not, it’s a pretty simple concept: having enough presence in a state that you need to collect sales tax in that state. What’s not so simple to understand is what determines “significant physical presence” in other states. Why? Because most states make their own rules and define presence differently.
