Changes related to Microsoft® Basic Authentication and TLS 1.0/1.1
There are two important technical updates approaching that will impact Sage 100 customers if they are not on a recent product release. These customers will need to upgrade to not be negatively impacted.
Microsoft Basic Authentication
This means that in-product email services will stop working if a customer is on a version of Sage 100 other than 2021.4 or 2022.1.
We are recommending all customers upgrade to the latest version of Sage 100 by October 1, 2022.
Transport Layer Security
Therefore, by the end of next summer, Sage will no longer support TLS 1.0 and 1.1. Customers must be on Sage 100 2019.4, 2020.1 or higher. It will be necessary for impacted customers to upgrade to a supported version before September 2023.
Contact your Sage business partner to discuss product upgrade or update options.
