ERP For The Craft Mead And Cider Industry

Mead and cider are hybrids in terms of production and tracking.  Cider’s production process is similar to beer, but it’s blended like spirits, and classified by the TTB as wine.  Mead on the other hand often referred to as “honey wine,” is made in a similar fashion to wine, except the main ingredient for the fermentation process is honey instead of fruit (though fruit can be added to mead, just as honey can be added to wine).  Both mead and cider exist in their own distinct category of craft beverage.  This means that finding flexible, adaptable business solutions is all the more important to craft mead and cider manufacturers.
