2021 ACUMATICA SUMMIT RECAP

For the first time in 18 months the Acumatica Cloud ERP community was able to come together in person for the 2021 Acumatica Summit in Las Vegas. Considering the recent circumstances, the Acumatica Summit was in full swing! The event hosted more than 2,000 in person attendees and thousands of additional virtual attendees who were able to watch the event live from their home.

The Acumatica Summit 2021 was exceptional – educational breakout sessions, live product demos, keynotes from the best in the industry, client panels, and other outside events provided an outstanding experience for customers and partners alike.

The exclusive day one keynote session on July 19, 2021 was given by Acumatica CEO Jon Roskill. Jon’s welcoming presentation was one like no other. From business highlights to Acumatica’s future direction, this was undoubtedly the most awaited event at the Acumatica Summit. Attendees were informed of Acumatica’s current state, groundbreaking developments with realistic technology in mind, and provided insight into values of excellence, community, integrity and curiosity.

 

Highlights from the Day 1 Keynote Session:
  • Can you believe that Acumatica is the fastest growing ERP company for the 8th year in a row? We certainly can! With recent announcements, Acumatica has doubled their staff and opened a new office location in London, England.
  • Due to recent world events, every business is going through some type of digital transformation. It’s important to remember that your digital transformation isn’t a destination, it’s an endless journey. Continuous technology improvements and developments are key for business growth.
  • Acumatica Cloud ERP provides the best business management solution for digitally resilient companies with connected businesses, rapid integrations, remote collaboration, business resilience, and future proof technology.

Day 2 of the Acumatica Summit was kicked off with a keynote session from Acumatica Chief Product Officer, Ali Jani. Now, if you’re interested in the technology-filled view of the year ahead, like the ACC support specialists, this session was for you! Product demonstrations and customer scenarios took the center stage in introducing the Acumatica 2021R2 release. Acumatica wants to help customers deliver their best results by working smarter, not harder!

 

Highlights of the 2021R2 release from the Day 2 Keynote Session:
  • The main themes of this session include: seamless personalization, boosting growth with best-in-class functionality, and driving innovation with a robust ecosystem.
  • Meter tiles in dashboards will show your team where they stand against performance goals.
  • Real time email tracking and open notifications will feed data directly into your CRM and ERP platforms to give you instant insights for sales, marketing, and other purposes.
  • Distribution specific updates include:
    • Setting customer specific pricing in your ERP.
    • Optimizing the customer experience from INSIDE the ERP.
    • Real time integrations with Big Commerce and Shopify will present personalized products to customers based on their actions and interests. There is no need to make updates in your ERP and then again in your eCommerce.
    • New features include: upsell, cross sell, substitutions, paperless picking, matrix products, and pricing enhancements.
  • Manufacturing specific updates include:
    • Assigning appointments and tasks directly within Acumatica. Technicians will receive information immediately, can attach images and notes, and the information is sent directly back to your project managers.
    • Visualized production schedules will monitor utilization and improve traceability and quality control.
  • Mobile updates include:
    • Your workspace will be configurable and customizable within the mobile user interface.
    • Visualized production schedules will monitor utilization and improve traceability and quality control. The mobile experience will be just as good as the browser experience.
    • Personalized widgets are coming to the mobile app.
  • New integration with Zoom Info will pull company and contact information directly into Acumatica, showing you exactly who you need to talk to.
  • Microsoft on PowerFx language in Excel.
  • Functionality with Apple watch includes adding notes and viewing notes to create a one of a kind on-the-go experience.
