Sage Software is to announce a new program that will allow for customers that have old versions of MAS 90 or MAS 200 to get current to the 3.7x version.  In addition to this Sage is also now extending the 3.7x retirement past 12-31-2008.  Here is the highlights to be announced:

The cost of the 3.x Value plan will be $1,000 for Sage MAS 90 Windows or $1,250 for Sage MAS 200 Client Server. This cost includes a $500 late fee.

Customers will receive the following key benefits.

• Copy of Sage MAS 90 Windows or Sage MAS 200 Client Server v3.71
• Accounts Payable 1099 and Payroll Table Tax updates for calendar 2008 and 2009
• Access to Sage Software Online knowledge base and downloads for one year
• v3.71 Paperless Office Suite
• 3 Support Cases
• Ability to purchase available v3.71 add-ons, including users and modules .
• Cost will be applied to a full 4.x reinstatement at the time they are ready to move up to the current 4.x version.

It is important to note that this new 3.x value plan will not include support for the Microsoft Vista operating system nor the MAS 200 SQL platform. As a result of this new plan, version 3.71 retirement will be extended past the previously announced target of 12/31/2008. The new target date will be communicated at a later date. Customers who purchase the 3.x value plan will be guaranteed version 3.71 support for the full year of the plan.
